This is a very ugly toy bird that my husband brought me back from some of his travels. It was a great choice because I’m a birder, and I love to recycle textiles (which this toy maker obviously did) and it is so completely ugly it makes me laugh. I call him Marbled Godwit because that is the funniest bird name I know.
Mr. Godwit has a wool cloth body, with yarn over wire for his feet.
