Colorious II

Every weaver worth their thread does sample pieces called gamps, to try different threadings, or yarns, or colors – or all of the above-  in one reference piece.   These color gamps are from a weaving workshop I took sometime back in the 90s, to create color wheels in different weave structures.  I’m sorry to say that I can’t remember the instructor’s name, but she chose a great variety of structures to showcase the color interactions.

I kept all the samples but not their draft sheets, so I’m not even sure I labeled them with the correct pattern name!  If any weavers out there can correct me, I’d be happy to hear from you.
