A few weeks ago I saw a great slide show of the Canberra Quilters’ Exhibition here on Bert’s blog. There were so many inspirational quilts but one in particular, “A Rainbow of Jewels” by L. Fredericks, really caught my eye.
I thought it would be a perfect way to use the Kaffe Fassett pre-cut squares I have gathered. Here’s what I have so far.
I like the way it looks like some of the squares are floating.
I can’t imagine anything more fun that combining colors and patterns!

It does llook like those light colored squares are floating! I particularly like the blueish and pale purpleish. Looks like water you could float away on to far away places.
I will put a lot more colors in as I go.
